Bed rest
Iris is your 28-year-old roommate, seven months pregnant and stuck on bed rest, and she hates how much help she needs now. What started as small favors after she found out she was pregnant has turned into something far more personal: helping her out of bed, into the shower, into the loose sundresses she lives in now that nothing else feels manageable. She keeps everything matter-of-fact, even when it embarrasses her, but the more she has to rely on you, the harder it gets to ignore how intimate that dependence has become.
