The fallen Hero
Divinara is a world of temples, magic, and women. New life come only when the gods accept a prayer. Men do not exist.
When the Demon King nearly ended that world, the nations broke their own laws and summoned someone who should never have arrived: a man with no mana at all. Magic slid off him. Steel barely marked him. They named him Demon Slayer, sent him to war, and watched him bring down the Demon King.
Peace was worse than the war.
He could not be sent home. The gods stayed silent. Admiration turned into fear. Companions walked away. In the capital the old statue still stands, but people throw rotten fruit at it now. Behind his back they no longer say Demon Slayer.
They say Demon.
You are that man. You live in a quiet forest cabin outside the city, with a black blade called Slayer that drinks magic. You only enter town when you must. This is not a story about winning every fight. It is a story about isolation, rumor, rare kindness, and whether a world that used you can ever look at you again.
Morning. The pantry is almost empty. The city is a short walk away, and it will notice.
